Day 26

As much as I liked the caravan park at Roma, it's time to move on. Making our way south to St George, we geocached our way to Surat. While here, it was snack o'clock. Nice little town, it's got a bit going for it.

As we were nearing St George, the weather changed. The wind picked up to +50kph gusts, I'm not fighting with an awning in that. So I checked into a cabin while Bren was happy to sway in his camper.

Late arvo the temp quickly dropped from 23° to 12° with a chill factor of 2.5°... nope. Happy with the cabin thanks.

We were going to do a sunset river cruise but heard the ol' boys in the vans behind say it's been cancelled due to weather... off to the pub then!

Accommodation is hard to get from here so having to book ahead.
